No Plans

So tomorrow is New Year's eve ... and I have NO plans thus far. I'm so over the whole bar scene here in Lexington. Well, really just in general. We may have a few people over to our house? Who knows. I feel like everyone else wants to "hit the town" but I would be more than happy to stay in!

2010 will be a big year for me...it's the year I will graduate from law school, take the bar, *hopefully* get my first real job, and maybe, just maybe engaged! (haha wonder if ben will read this! if so, hint hint!) I'm thinking 10.10.10 would be a good date - just for fun! :) Once I am gainfully employed, I'd love to travel more - I could really, really use a vacation! I would also LOVE to meet some of you all! Blogging and reading all of your blogs is most certainly my favorite past time!

Anywho...if we do end up having people over tomorrow night, I found this cute idea for a center piece that I will recreate.

easy, sparkly, and pretty! {from Martha}

  1. I'd rather stay in than go out on NYE. House parties are so much more fun I think! Happy New Year!

  2. When Hubby and I were engaged we went out a few time but mainly we stayed in and had dinner in with a few friends.
    Now 11 yrs married we stay in. I was never a bar scene person anyhow.

  3. I'm keeping NYE low-key too. Go out and paying jacked up covers just doesn't do it for me anymore. I love that centerpiece, though!

  4. I'm staying in for NYE just bc I have so much bar prep stuff to do!

    You will pretty much be in the same place as me for 2010.. bar exam and need to get a real job. To be honest, I'm actually scared for it all. I always thought it would be great to graduate, but now I'm kind of reconsidering!

  9. Nice centerpiece idea!

    And staying in for NYE sounds like a good idea. More relaxing anyway! I'll be spending it w/ my 2 1/2 year old nephew. I'm thinking sparkling cider & Thomas the train will be involved somehow!
