Just keep smiling, and keep studying. I read your blog when I was studying over the summer and it helped to know you were going through the same struggles! Here are some things that I think Helped me pass in NY:
I used a really simple formula for the essays. I used IRAC. And I literally wrote "the issue is ____", "the rule/law is ___", "here the defendant____" "therefore ___".
I took about 2500 multiple choice practice questions for the MBE, noting why i got them wrong.
I made about a million flashcards with the common law on a white card, and NY law distinction on a colored card.
I'm sure you already heard that crap a million times, but hey if there's one tiny thing that helps, I'm glad.
Eh that sent shivers down my spine, too!!
ReplyDeleteyikes. right now i'm doing the bar app for the july bar. GROSS. i'm sure i'll feel similarly.

ReplyDeleteliterally to Legally Fabulous' comment. When I first saw my boyfriend after his and asked how it went, he threw up right there. So, good luck!
ReplyDeleteNo way around it - the bar exam sucks. Try to enjoy the holidays and save the stress for the new year.
