welcome to 2011

Yea, I know I'm a little late on this, but I finally ordered a kindle! I'm excited to get it in the mail. You all know I love to read and the Kindle is just so much more portable for traveling for work and whatnot. The books are way less expensive and you can share too!

Up next on my reading list are:
  1.  "The Hunger Games" series by Suzanne Collins
  2. Emily Griffin's "Something Borrowed," "Something Blue," "The Heart of the Matter," and "Love the One Your With"
  3. Chris Cleave's "Little Bee"
  4. Karen White's "The Lost Hours," "The House on Tradd St," "The Girl on Legare St.," "The Memory of Water," "Learning to Breath," "On Folly Beach," "Falling Home," "Pieces of the Heart," and "The Color of Light" (ha, this might take a while)
Have any Kindle books you want to share with moi?!

  2. LOVE my Kindle! It is probably the best birthday present that I have ever received :)My husband actually calls it the "anti-sex machine" (TMI? Sorry!)
Folly Beach is on my "to read" list too. All of the Emily Griffin books are fabulous, and I am reading Summer Rental on my Kindle right now (the latest book by Mary Kay Andrews...I can't put it down, and I recommend all of her books if you haven't read them!)I'll have to check out the books on your reading list too :)

  6. My mom just bought one, and it is pretty awesome sauce. Apparently, schools are going to start using them instead of textbooks. I don't know about you, but I could not imagine going through law school on a Kindle. I needed to physically highlight on physical pages! I refused to read cases on Westlaw! OK, now I sound like a grandma! :)

  7. Hunger Games series is the best!!!
Also, please add the Other Boleyn Girl (because you said you never read the book and loved the movie) and all other Phillipa Gregory books. SO GOOD!

  8. I've been on the verge of getting a Kindle for months, but every time I walk into the library to pick up my books I rethink it. (Call me Carrie Bradshaw, but I just love the smell of a library book. The risk of getting bed bugs from them, not so much....) Anyway, knowing that I can share books on a Kindle definitely makes it more enticing! If I break down and buy one I'd love to share with you!
