engagement pics outfits

What do you all think of this Yoana Baraschi dress for our engagement pictures? I'm thinking I'll do one dress and also a cute top with jeans. Is the dress classic enough? Or will I look back and think "why on earth did I wear that?!"

Still on the look out. Any suggestions?! Ideas?! We are getting them taken in May in Charleston, SC. So it will likely be kinda warm. We will be downtown among the historic homes and buildings as well as on the water and probably find some live oaks to take some shots by too.

    I love that dress! I think the black will keep it classic for years and years. I've always liked engagement pictures in a black dress and then another brighter casual outfit. Good luck, can't wait to see them when they're done.

    Love the dress! I think it will be a timeless look. Who did you decide to go with for your photographer in Charleston? Are you familiar with the area? I cam suggest some great spots if you are interested!

    I love the dress! I agree that the classic LBD is perfect for engagement pics. I also think that a casual option, the way you'd normally look, just as if the photographer captured you two on any given day, is a great option.

    I wore a black lace dress in some of mine for those specific reasons - classic and I knew it wouldn't be something that would go out of style. I think your pick is a great choice. :-)
