wedding plans thus far

Did I tell you all we set a date?! June 1, 2013. The wedding will be in Lexington, this allowed more of our family and friends to be able to take part in the big day. I don't have a lot planned so far, but I have the reception venue booked, photographer booked, rehearsal dinner venue booked and hopefully the church will be booked soon. Still no luck finding a wedding dress. And still going back and forth on colors/overall schemes. I think I may not stick with my original idea board and change from blushes to light blue, cream, gold and touches of navy. Did you all change your mind a lot during planning?

Our ceremony location: Mt Horeb Presbyterian Church - Our good friends Brittany and Pat were married here...isn't it adorable?! simple and cozy :) Hopefully I can get this locked down in the near future! {this is Britt in her amazing dress entering the church -  Laura Negri Photography}

Our reception venue: Lexington Country Club - Praying the weather is nice so that we can use the patio quite a bit.

Our photographer: Bella Grace Studios - Fab!! (already told ya'll about this in an earlier post)

Our rehearsal dinner venue: The Bodley-Bullock House - This is the historic home that the Lexington Junior League uses for its headquarters. The garden is so lovely!

Thinking maybe along these lines for the colors?

Gorgeous places! I am going reception looking this week and hope to choose a date soon--one of my top choices being the same date you chose!

I love the color scheme as well--I love pastels and think the navy is perfect (and is a color my friends have suggested for dresses). Can't wait to hear more details as you choose them. ;)
