My Bridesmaids' Luncheon

I'll start the wedding recaps with the first true event of the weekend, the luncheon for my bridesmaids. My aunt hosted this for us at Dudley's on Short in downtown Lexington. It was the perfect location! The setting was beautiful and the food was fabulous.

{My lovely bridesmaids!}

My Aunt did a fab job! We spent the morning sipping on mimosas! Much needed to calm this bride's nerves (more stress than nerves)!
{My aunt and me}

It was great to relax and enjoy the time with all my girls who had come in for the wedding. I gave them their gifts at the luncheon. I got each of them a monogrammed button down to wear while getting ready on the wedding day, earrings to wear for the wedding (and after obviously) and a silver charm (from the charm cake). I also got my sis (my MOH) a small David Yurman cross necklace as an added thank you and something special for her to keep.

The invitations were from Etsy, and I used her design to make some
wedding day timelines for the girls.

The charm cake pulls and topper I found on Etsy as well
(their wedding albums are to die for...but way over priced!)
{This is an old Southern tradition. Each girl pulls a charm from the cake and receives
a fortune/good luck charm. You can read more about it here if you are unfamiliar with the tradition.}

The girls' button downs I ordered from Lands End
and had a local girl monogram them.

Their earrings came from Banana Republic.
{Alissa modeling her earrings ;) }

Each of my bridesmaids wrote me a note in this book...
"You Can Wear it Again" - the pictures in this are amazing!

It was the perfect kick off to our amazing wedding weekend! I'm a lucky lady to have all of these fabulous women in my life!

Everything looks so beautiful. I love the book idea- especially the title- famous last words of all brides, right?
