From MSNBC.com: "The device will use RIM's new Operating System 6, which includes a badly needed re-do of the BlackBerry Web browser, which is painfully slow and frustrating to use. The new browser is called the Torch Mobile browser. It is based on WebKit, the same engine used by Apple and Google.
The phone, with Wi-Fi, has pinch-to-zoom on the touchscreen, something the iPhone and other devices already feature. It also has a 5-megapixel camera with flash and autofocus, as well as "environment" settings. The camera will name pictures by location."
So, are you a Blackberry user? I love my MacBook, but I'm all about the BB...

Hmm.. I dont know how I feel about this just yet. LOVE my Blackberry, actually got an iPhone last summer then switched back after a week. Something about the slide keyboard makes me think of a Samsung rather than a Blackberry. But thank goodness for the update browser. Hopefully I can get that on mine since I don't have an upgrade until March.
this almost makes me want one. i just can't get past how expensive it is to maintain, tho! (i'm still on a pay as you go virgin mobile phone, which works really well...but it's not pretty like the BB!!)
OHHHHH. I am TERRIBLE at touch screens so the slide keyboard really makes me want one. The only thing preventing me from upgrading is that I'll have to add on internet to my plan. I don't have it now, and as handy as it would be the extra $30 a month is a little rough.
Also, I have the curve which "has wifi" but it has never, EVER worked for me (meaning won't load or loads so slowly it is completely useless). So hopefully this new browser really is better.
My Blackberry was 2 years old in March, and I'm dying to get a new phone! I was initially waiting for the iphone 4, but with all of the talk about it not working well I haven't made the plunge yet. With this new Blackberry coming out soon, I'm seriously considering not making the switch! If you get it, let me know what you think!
im eligible for an upgrade in november so i hope verizon gets this phone by then! i am addicted to my (crack)berry; it's terrible but i wouldn't have it any other way. seriously, my friends and i joke they should have therapy sessions for people like us/me :)
I have both (BB for work) I have everything fwd'd to my iPhone. I am a junkie. I used to (personally) have a blackberry but it crapped out on me so when I swapped it...I got an iPhone. It was tough to get used to at first but now I wouldn't go back.
I'm new to your blog!!! and totallly agree :) love love the ipad and macbook... but my blackberry is the best! I definitely want this! Have u gotten it yet??
