Planning a bachelorette weekend in Nashville!

One of my best friends is getting married in October, and as the MOH I'll be planning the bachelorette party along with some of the other bridesmaids!! We have the date set tentatively for September, but you know me, I couldn't wait to start planning! Chelsea, one of the bridesmaids, moved to Nashville recently so we will be shacking up with her for the weekend. I'm thinking we will all arrive Friday night, and have a lingerie shower and dinner. We can stay in and watch "Bridesmaids" and have cocktails. Then Saturday shop and whatnot and get dressed up for dinner and the night out!

The theme for the weekend will just be girly cowgirl, pink, bachelorette stuff. I've found these super cute items on etsy, all of which I'm either going to order or make something similar.

Any ideas you think I just have to do?! What have you done for a bachelorette party that was a big hit?! Let me know!

As a Nashville resident, I say do your 'partying' downtown. The locals like me hang at Midtown, but it's not the place for a swinging bachelorette party (although still not awful!). Paradise Park has the best band downtown on Friday and Saturday night - Jason James. He plays covers and it's the kind of place you go with intentions of having fun. I mean, it is decorated like a trailer park!

While you're downtown, try and find the 'Bang Me' Twins. They're a set of twins who are older and wear matching 'Bang Me' t-shirts. They do a little bit of everything - street performers so to speak. They love to take their picture with people. You can find them on Facebook. Someone created a fan page for them.

Sorry to leave such a long comment - I just love talking about fun things to do in my city!

I love your inspiration photos for this girls getaway. I'm planning one now in Savannah, GA for my sister. On Friday we're going to all bring an appetizer for a tapas-style dinner, and we'll do a blind wine tasting.

Saturday we'll be at the beach and then at the bars that night! We also have a brunch planned for Sunday.

They are a lot of fun to plan - you are off to a great start!

Born and raised Nashvillian here! Definitely go to Broadway - Big Bang (dueling piano bar), Paradise Park (awesome band), Lonnie's (awesome karaoke), Tootsie's (best honky tonk), dinner at The Palm... I can go on if you need! ;)
Good luck!

I went to a bachelorette several years ago here in DC where each guest was asked to bring a pair of undies for the bride. It was sort of like a lingerie shower, but in this case, it was just undies, and then the bride had to guess who brought which pair! They could be as wild or tame as you wanted, and was just really cute. Of course, they were new, and she kept them all in the end!

A few years ago I went to a Bachelorette party in Nashville. In addition to the shopping and bars, we went to Arrington Vineyards for a tasting/ picnic lunch-- we enjoyed it (in the summer they also had live entertainment in the afternoons)!

alright lady, as a nashvillian myself...i think you need to venture to some other places than just honky tonks--try the patterson house for swanky cocktails, virago for amazing sushi and LA/NY style atmosphere, and tavern has a fantastic brunch for sunday hangover/morning.

if you need other ideas/suggestions, let me know--happy to help and i know the party will be wonderful!

Love your ideas! You are going to have an amazing time. There are so many fun things to do in Nashville.
You should try a pole dance or chair dance party at Urban Studio. They are super popular for bachelorettes. www.NashvillePoleParty.com
Best of luck with your party planning.
